Dr. Jordan Hamric Recognized as Optometry Change Agent
The American Optometric Association and CooperVision® have come together to distinguish 51 Optometrists as pioneers of change in the field of optometry.
“Brought to the profession of optometry by AOA and CooperVision ®, the Myopia Collective is a new initiative aimed at rallying the profession of optometry and its allies to interrupt the status quo and realize a new standard of care for children with myopia.”
We are proud to share that Dr. Hamric has been recognized as one of these individuals, thanks to her tireless efforts to improve the standard of eye care for children with myopia in West Virginia.
In conjunction with the Collective’s other change agents and our team of optometrists, Dr. Hamric is leading the profession in delivering myopia control efforts to patients and advocating for long-term community and policy change that facilitates the mission of the Collective.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Hamric on her incredible work to improve the lives and vision of West Virginia children!
