We offer pediatric vision care year round, but want to bring special attention to children’s eye care today, on Dr. Seuss Day, in honor of the contributions his books have made to help children understand difficult concepts.
We believe that education is one of the most important things we can offer our youth. As we all know, each child learns differently from the next, and some children may need extra support at times. Did you know that 80% of learning is visual and happens through the eyes? So when a child can’t see what’s written on a chalk board or read what’s written in a book, it can be very hard for them to actively participate.
We encourage eye exams for all ages, including children- especially if they seem to struggle in school.
